Artist Joy Schaber designed 30 different patterned papers, then grouped them into 7 color-coordinating "families". Each family combines elegant vintage-style florals and patterns in colors like English blue and cream, summery pink and green, springtime yellow and green, plus more. The look is lovely and old-fashioned, perfect for heritage or black-and-white photos.
The use of vellum makes this page perfect. A simple strip of yellow vellum draws the eye to the photo by accentuating the yellow flowers in the floral frame and multiple mats create depth on the page. Gold background paper adds elegance while working with the vellum to separate the patterned papers. The green striped paper gives the layout balance while the simple journaling completes the page.
